Problem: Practicing Law is draining and comes with a myriad of challenges and stressors that effect the person, their walk with God, and their family.
Solution: Create Christ-centered group(s) where those who practice law, from students to retirees, can face those challenges together through support and encouragement.
Vision: All Christ-followers who practice law are faith active at work, managing their demands with Christ as King and the Ultimate Judge over their decisions.
Fill out this form if you are interested in being connected with other Christian's who practice law in Dayton.
Strategy:
Annually, gather for a special time of ceremony, commissioning, and connection.
Map 6-12 offices and chambers where Christians are practicing Law
Meet monthly, rotating virtually and in-person. Use a format like the one below to surface needs and dreams in the name of Christ.
Host shares a story about what it's been like being faith-active in their work environment and prays over the time
Go around the room and everyone answers the questions:
1) How is God moving in your work?
2) What are you struggling with?
3) What is God inviting you to do?
4) Who in your office or in this network can you connect with to discuss?
5) How else can we support you?
With the remaining time, facilitator summarizes what was shared, encourages one-on-one mentoring connections, shares the next location, and prays the group out.
Continue to find and invite more Christians who practice law to monthly gatherings. Ask them to fill out this form. Invite both students, active workers, and those who are retired.
