Whenever we serve “the least of these,” we serve Jesus (Matthew 25:40). Every act of compassion is Kingdom Work, restoring souls and lands to God's original intent.​ Let us not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9), trusting that God multiplies every humble act of service to transform our hearts and others.

To be effective in serving, we have to ask more questions, use what we already have, find the role that best fits us and work together with others, give of our time and talent, also our treasure, and not give up.
We want to grow in maturity, serving for a lifetime, through all seasons, leaving a legacy of Love.

Which population(s) do I care about? How many people fit that description in my region? How many people are caring for them already? Who else cares about them and how do I link together with them? What do we do to help? What effective solutions other people have used? What are the stats and stories?

ABCD = Asset Based Community Development. We surface the available assets and resources who have history, skill, and capacity to care for others well. Through dignified story-telling, we equip you with tools, and connect the team together to more effectively and efficiently help others along on their journey towards wholeness.

Micro means doing one task or engaging with a couple relationships. Mezzo means leading a group of people to execute their tasks. Macro means organizing leaders of groups to execute well their group-tasks in sync with the whole. We need all 3 practitioners - which one are you?

Time is the most valuable commodity we have. How much time do you want to invest and how do you want to spend your time? Connect with others who are doing or want to do the work. What needs do they have? Find a role that best fits your natural talents and giftings. Then find a beginning sustainable rhythm and commit to a period of time.

If you want to see what you value, look at your calendar and financial statements. Where your heart, time, and talent are led, allow your treasure to follow. Invest your financial resources into the people and solutions you believe in. Do it anonymously or not. Your reward will be in Heaven - waiting for a hug and a tearful Thank You. Encourage others to do the same. Joy comes from giving and doing so generously. Kingdom Comes through God's Will be done, of Giving Up One's Life to Gain it.

Let us not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9).You want to sustain and grow your love for the people you care about over a lifetime. You want to be changed, leave a legacy, be effective, inspire others to commit, and do all of this healthfully. You don't want to sacrifice your family on the alter of ministry. Jesus sent us out 2 x 2 and on a team of 12. Find your team(s) and help each other Love for the long-haul. Don't Give Up, instead, mature in skill and heart.
