Frontline Listeners' are everyday people that by the nature of their job end up listening to a lot of people process their life.
This includes, but isn't limited to, barbers, bartenders, hair stylists, diner folk, baristas, and secretaries.
Problem:
While frontline listeners' aren't counselors or therapists, Christ invites these workers to create space for Kingdom Come through a lot of listening and processing.
Quality of listening skills or boundaries is variable.
Frontline Listeners' enjoy and are exhausted by all the listening they do and they don't have a place to connect with others and process themselves in Christ-centered community.
They are often unidentified, unseen, and underappreciated for the vital listening work they do that helps our society heal.
There is also an opportunity for these workers to introduce people to Christ through their own story, but that requires courage in Christian community.
Solution: Create a regional Christ-centered network of front-line listeners who encourage, listen, and support each other in becoming better listeners and better at their craft for Kingdom Come.
Strategy (regional):
Map frontline listeners and their businesses: Please Fill Out This Form
Gather annually to celebrate, encourage, and connect each other for ongoing support
Visit each other's businesses to support each other
